The following morning, the delegation attended the Hungarian National Trade House (MNKH Zrt.), The Moroccan Embassy in Budapest and the Hungarian-Moroccan Business Forum, co-organized by HTCC, at the Ipar street main building of MNKH Zrt. During the morning program of the Moroccan Ambassador, the Hungarian and Moroccan interested parties were able to get a detailed picture of the current status of bilateral relations between Hungary and Morocco, especially in terms of foreign trade - with a particular focus on agriculture and the energy sector. The event was of great interest on both sides and again focused on the latest investment opportunities.
In the afternoon, the Moroccan guests visited the Parliament, who, in addition to being surrounded by one of the most impressive buildings of our country, could have met István Jakab, Vice-President of the Parliament, who welcomed them for a courtesy visit. Mr. Mohammed El Harti, Vice Mayor of Fès, invited Mr. Jakab to visit again. He indicated that with the Mayor of Fès, who is also a Member of Parliament and the largest MP from Morocco, the leader of the PJD, is pleased to continue to deepen our relations. The Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship has also come to light, and it has been increased, as well as the closer cooperation between the two national parliaments, especially in the field of agriculture and research and development. Dr. József Steier, Country Director of HTCC, Morocco, said that HTCC prepared a convention for the GVB meeting in November, which will facilitate the export of Hungarian innovative agricultural products.
During the delegation's visit, the relationship between the Hungarian Suzuki Zrt. And the City of Fes was also raised in order to jointly examine the possibility of installing a car assembly plant in the free zone of Fèskirályi City. This could be Morocco's fourth car body and could be increased by up to 30% the capacity of Magyar Suzuki Zrt., which means the production of about 100,000 containers. Deputy Mayor El Harti promised that soon they would send a letter of intent to the Hungarian party in this case.
The delegation also visited the site of Aeroplex Central European Aircraft Technology Center Ltd. The focus of the visit was that the city of Fès was interested in creating a Boeing repair base, while Aeroplex needed installers who would be involved in home training. The Hungarian party has also offered an offer to build a hall, as Fèsa does not have halls for the repair of large-scale machines, and the knowledge required for its construction is available at home.
On the last working day, the Moroccan guests organized a Delacasse Ltd. - a Hungarian company specializing in the production of biogas and cleaning technology - a Siófok sewage purifier, which with its slurry technology represents a niche replacement technology that the Moroccan party does not yet have. This case will also be a serious follow-up, as the parties have mutually attracted each other's attention.
Subsequently, in Kaposvár, Deputy Mayor Boris Zsombor welcomed the Moroccan guests: here was the twin town twinning with the town of Fès. In addition to university, thermal water and SMART city issues, the industrial park development and the green / floral city issues were discussed, which could have been of great interest, as representatives of Fès indicated that they would return to Kaposvár in a near future with a chamber delegation to address these issues can be deeply reviewed.
The site of the Hungarian company producing the Lakics wind turbines was also visited in Kaposvár. Here, the technology transfer potential is a major blow: mainly for 30-150 kW medium wind turbines, but Siemens turbine engineers are also here. Representatives of Fès are waiting for a complete package of technology, supplemented with education.
Finally, Sunwo Zrt. Visited Nagyberény to see the country's first emerald forest: two and four year old emerald tree plantations are located on two hectares. The 4-year-old plantation impressed them with a 20-30 cm torso diameter and height above 8 meters with flowering canopy, so that the city of Fès wanted to explore the possibility of creating a 150 hectare leisure and eco-park
The Moroccan delegation left Hungary on Saturday afternoon following the dense program outlined above. As they said, their stay here was extremely instructive for them and they are convinced that the links that we have now will result in fruitful business. HTCC is proud of its success in these successes, as all indications suggest that the foundations for a number of long-term partnerships have been reestablished which will further strengthen the bilateral relations between Hungary and Morocco.
